Linux Minimal System Requirements:
  • Any Linux distribution using the bash shell.
  • Wget & Java/OpenJDK packages.
  • Unzip package (1.1 Only).
  • Internet connection.

Linux Recommended System Requirements:

  • Any Linux distribution using the bash shell.
  • Wget & Java/OpenJDK packages.
  • Unzip & Gedit packages (1.1 Only).
  • Internet connection.
  • 2 GHz or faster processor.
  • 1 GB of RAM or more.
  • 1 GB of free hard drive space.

Mac OS X System Requirements:

  • Fink*
  • Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) or later.
  • Java
  • 2 GHz or faster processor.
  • 2 GB of RAM or more.
  • 1 GB of free hard drive space.

Note: Minecraft Server Center will not work in Windows.

If you use Windows and would like to use MCSC, install Linux in Virtual Box and run MCSC from there.

*You must run Minecraft Server Center inside Fink. Please note that you may have to put ./ before every command and some syntax may be slightly different than the Linux version.
